Fanta Orange Taste Rich yellow colour, lively and bright. Light, almost powdery nose, with scents of orange barley water, concentrated orange juice and a sprinkling of crushed Disprin tablet. Brisk and lively on the palate with plenty of orangey character. Satisfying sweetness, with enough tangy acidity to balance, and a zesty bitterness completes the picture.
Origin
Fanta derives from the German word fantasie meaning fantasy or imagination. It was created in Germany in 1940, as the Coca Cola Co was unable to import Coke into the country due to the Allied blockade, which effectively cut off supplies.
