Badoit is a naturally carbonated water obtained from natural sources in Saint-Galmier, France.
It is named after Auguste Badoit, who first bottled the water in 1883.
The popularity of Badoit is due to it’s digestive-aid qualities owing to the high levels of Bicarbonates, in fact it was only sold in pharmacies until 1954.
About Badoit: Rising at Saint Galmier in the Loire region in France, Badoit is a gift of nature.
It emerges from its spring naturally sparkling, with light bubbles that will tickle your palate.

“Badoit is the water that inspires me the most, both as a consumer and a chef. The taste of Badoit is unique, an aromatic uniqueness as well as a very singular texture, it is almost a signature taste in itself. Its bubbles are fine but energetic, never a lull to be seen… With them, daily routine turns into a dance and they awaken the slightest ingredient. This product has long been adopted as one of my key ingredients. I love this water.”
“It has been a faithful companion of mine for decades now” – Thierry Marx, Badoit Brand Ambassador and Michelin star chef
“The tiny, lasting bubbles add a little zing to food.” – Dominique Laporte, France’s best sommelier
