First discovered by King Louis XV personal physician Dr. Bagard, Contrex is an extremely popular French water from Contrexeville in north-eastern France.
With a high Calcium content of 486mg per litre and a strong presence of Magnesium, Contrex boasts a very low level of Sodium, Chlorides and Nitrates.
The producer recommends the water as a diuretic and boasts that it is ‘the ideal beverage for health conscious women’, whilst the Calcium helps strengthen bones and the Magnesium aids the working of a healthy nervous system.
