Dr. Pepper Taste Dark brown colour, with a fragrant nose of all things almond: Marzipan, Amaretto, Italian biscotti plus a little dried fruit and chocolate. Almond flavours follow on the palate, with accents of Parma violets and Turkish delight. A short, supple finish releases notes of treacle and clove. Touch sweet.
Origin
Dr Pepper was formulated by a Texan pharmacist in 1885, and served to customers from a soda fountain in his drug store. It is one of America’s oldest soft drinks, predating Coca-Cola by one year.
